As part of providing the platform for our online store, Shopify International Limited (Shopify Ireland) may transfer personal data to MaxMind, a transfer fraud detection service that processes personal data to help us avoid fraudulent transactions. In this capacity, MaxMind acts as an independent data controller with regards to your personal data that they may processed. Personal data

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular, by reference to an identifier. Identifiers can include, for example, a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, an IP address or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (hereafter referred to jointly as data).

When you visit the Website, we collect, use, disclose and process your data as outlined in this Privacy Policy. We collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Website including any information for the purpose of creating and managing your account, fulfilling orders requested via this Website, and to improve the Website and services therein (the Services). Orders and your Daisybelle account information

  •  Examples of data collected: name, billing address, delivery address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number, order data, receipt data, date of birth.
  • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfil any orders you place with us through our Website or our mobile applications, for example to:
    • create and maintain your customer account once you become a registered customer;
    • process your payment information, arrange for delivery, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations (If we don’t collect your data during checkout, we won’t be able to process your order);
    • communicate with you in respect of product and services;
    • screen our orders for potential risk or fraud;
    • continuously improve our service to you by monitoring telephone calls which we receive at our branches and call centres for the purposes of staff training, quality control and service improvement;
    • we may (when you consent) use your data, preferences and details of your transactions to keep you informed about relevant products and services including tailored special offers, discounts, promotions, events, competitions and so on. For this purpose, you will be asked to “opt-in” and we will not process your data unless you explicitly authorise us to do so. Of course, you are free to opt out of hearing from us by any of these channels at any time;
    • manage and administer the Daisy Points Scheme; to communicate information to Daisy Points Scheme members; to use information relating to sets or groups of Members, without identifying Members, to enhance our understanding of the use of Daisy Points Scheme and enable us to improve our Service in general;
    • capture your product reviews, for example when you buy goods and services from us we may follow it up with an enquiry about your experience of the product to help us gauge customer satisfaction. You are not obligated to leave reviews and ratings but this facility would enable you to get your views of the product across should you wish to do so;
    • to notify you about changes to our services and to send you service emails relating to the activities you have asked us to undertake on your behalf;
    • to communicate with you in the event that any services requested are unavailable or if there is a query or problem with your order.
  • Source of collection: data is provided by you for example by: creating an account with us; filling in forms on our Website; by interacting with us by e-mail, telephone or otherwise; when you purchase products and/or services from us; when you reply to an email; by entering a competition, promotion or survey.

We may request that our subcontracted service partners assist us as processors of your data, in order to, for example, fulfil your order. Retention of data

  • Your data is stored by our processor Shopify Ireland as affiliate of the Shopify Canada with data storage/processing in Canada and the US. We retain your data pursuant to the GDPR, or where we have a continued legitimate and lawful purpose to do so. However, we will not retain beyond this period any of your personal data that is no longer required for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. The retention of your personal data will be subject to periodic review. You may also request erasure at any time. For more information on your right of erasure, please see the Your rights section below.
  • We may keep an anonymised form of your data, which will no longer refer to you, for statistical purposes without time limits, to the extent that we have a legitimate and lawful interest in doing so.

Your rights

  • You have a right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict, transport, and object to the processing of your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority if you believe that your data are not being processed in accordance with applicable data protection law.
  • Right to rectification. You may request that we rectify any inaccurate and/or complete any incomplete data.

  • Right to data portabilityIn certain circumstances, you may request that we provide your data to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have it transferred to another provider of the same or similar services. We will comply with such transfer as far as it is technically feasible. Please note that a transfer to another provider does not imply erasure of your data which may still be required for legitimate and lawful purposes.

Automated decision making

  • Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.
